7 Flavors: Buffet on a Budget
Located on the quiet street of Mabini, 7 Flavors is one establishment that could not easily be missed. Its massive property can comfortably seat more than 200 hungry diners as it functions as both a café/restaurant and a buffet restaurant.
International a la carte options await diners in the Gourmet Café floor ranging from sandwiches, to specialty drinks, and main courses reasonably priced within the range of P300 to P550. Its interiors may be simple, but the ambiance is kept warm and vibrant. Adding excitement to the experience would be its weekly night features such as Wednesday Bossa nights, Thursday Millenial nights, and Friday Acoustic nights.
However, the heart of 7 Flavors lies in its World Fusion Buffet, as it offers a wide selection of Asian and Western specialties curated by Chef Boy Logro. It has a make-your-own salad station, a grill station, an array of mains, a dessert station, and unlimited drinks.
The buffet comes with a crazily affordable price tag of P400 for Monday to Thursday lunches, P500 for Monday to Thursday dinners, and P600 for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays! (They even have a rainy day promo which drops the buffet price to a mere P350!) Affordable as it is, it’s a surprising comfort that 7 Flavors does not skimp on quality. Its beef carving for instance is tremendously tender and juicy!
The highlight of the buffet spread is actually not part of its main dishes. In the middle of its appetizer selections, you’d see a modest make-your-own taco spread. To be honest, I completely ignored this when I was getting my first fill; only to find out that its Tacos are actually one of the house specialties of 7 Flavors. I’m not a fan of tacos, but I definitely enjoyed each bite of theirs. The juicy ground beef, and the creamy Samurai sauce made their Tacos a runaway hit!
The nice thing about 7 Flavors is that it also doubles as an events place. It has hosts and event organizers whom you can hire; a complete sound system and various equipment for rent; providing a cheaper and hassle-free alternative for children’s parties, birthday parties, and wedding receptions!
The article above is a feature, as the writer was invited to a special event organized by Aldous Calubad for 7 Flavors.
