Homemade Christmas Goodies by Kakáo Pastries
The yuletide season gets a little bit stressful when gift-giving is concerned. It’s basically because there are simply too many options available for us that tend to clutter our attention. The best solution for this? Trim down your selection and make them more meaningful by supporting goods of local start-up’s and home-based businesses. Personally, I'm giving out seafood crates from Fishmongers (since each crate comes with a Christmas meal for a fisherman's family) and Kool PH's foldable tumblers and cups (for something cute and sustainable at the same time) as Christmas gifts this year!
CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES (Box of 12 – P320)
If you’re into classic homemade baked goodies, you definitely should check out Kakáo Pastries. They offer three no-fuss variants of cookies that simply aim to please: Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate and Double Chocolate. The spotlight has always been on quirky cookie flavor concepts such as those from trendy Scout’s Honor (beautiful cookies but always too sweet to be enjoyed) and the much-crazed about Mo’ Cookies (which serve really good cookies which you have to queue up for). Kakáo Pastries’ variants may be limited to the traditional fare, but they more than make up for it for the quality of the ingredients that they use. A big plus is that it's so hassle-free to order goodies from them! Finish your entire Christmas list in five minutes by just filling out their online order sheet at https://tinyurl.com/KakaoOrders and you're good to go.
SIGNATURE FUDGE BROWNIES (Box of 12 - P360)
This high quality is even more evident in their Signature Fudge Brownies. Once you open the box, you can immediately smell the premium chocolate chunks mixed into the brownies. For people who know me, they know that I’m nauseatingly particular with my chocolate, but honest-to-goodness, Kakáo Pastries was able to pass my rigorous test. I loved how chunky each bar was; and despite the generous use of chocolate, it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. It was simply perfect. If you’re in an extra festive mood, I suggest popping the brownie and/or cookie in the microwave for fifteen seconds and topping it with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream for that perfect ala mode dessert in the comforts of your own home.
